Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning, forecasting & inventory management for 13 bakery locations
  • Assistance with Data Integrity Review in preparation for new ERP implementation
  • Assist with maintenance of Contract Management files
  • Assist with maintenance of TraceGains and GEP Platforms
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Education/Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • College coursework in Procurement Area of Study required
  • Experience with ERP/MRP system is desirable; Microsoft NAV preferred.

Critical Skills and Expertise

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other Windows based programs, including Outlook.
  • Advanced Excel Skills preferred with proficiency in functions and formulas (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF formulas).
  • Basic understanding of purchasing principles and general accounting procedures and rules.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques, researching, and determining the most appropriate course of action and best resolution.
  • Capable of understanding complex instructions, reading notices, and working schedule.
  • Ability to record input (data entry) information accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high sense of self-efficacy.
  • Ability to work independent and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess excellent communication, analytical, and people skills and the ability to successfully manage conflicts and pressures associated with meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to follow an activity through implementation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and apply broad computer technology in a wide array of functional areas.
