This role is eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors. How You'll Perform the Role Proactively maintain and continuously improve the production schedule. Provide complete and accurate communication to all levels of the Supply Chain Team, in a clear and concise manner while enabling the group to achieve the performance level necessary to provide exemplary service. Calculate figures such as required amounts of labor, materials, and manufacturing costs, using production schedules, MRP/MPS system and reports, calculators, or computers. Confer with Plant Supervisors and Operators, Procurement, Distribution, and Customer Service to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays. Monitor production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures, using this information for Continuous Improvement activities such as maintenance of routings and BOMs, increasing accuracy of production schedule and efficiency reporting. Lead Small Group meetings involving Safety Committee objectives, SQF requirements and documentation. Hold weekly Toolbox meetings with production personnel to help translate Company objectives so everyone is working toward the same goals. Print, reconcile, and maintain records for cycle counts; utilize ERP and other online tools for inventory management; and confirm/create purchases and maintain open POs. What We Need From You Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), preferably in a business, technical or behavioral science discipline or a combination of education and 5-10 years of work-related experience equivalent to a four-year college degree required. Knowledge of arithmetic, structured problem-solving tools, and their applications, using these abilities to analyze and create proactive solutions to reduce or eliminate problems in production and enhance our ability to service customers, both internal and external. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions, involving as many resources as necessary to bring the issue to quick and accurate resolution, involving department and plant management on an "as needed" basis. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete job tasks.
