What Is the Purpose of This Position? Coordinates production scheduling programs, sets up parameters. Analyses customer forecast and assigns branch part production to guarantee the delivery of product using the optimal use of production, material and logistics resources. Coordinates new product introduction or revisions with all functions. Resolves supply chain issues with local teams. Reviews and makes recommendations related to production planning and operations. Continually seeks to improve the performance of customer programs.

List the Major or Most Important Duties Performed

  • Coordinates with sales, operations, planning, programming and shipping to define effective product and material workflows to meet Customer demands.

  • Generates reports and communicate to assess production performance. Report examples to include (but not limited to) Estimated Delivery Date, Machine Performance, On Time Delivery, Quoting vs. Actual, Plan vs. Actual, etc.

  • Release batches and issues internal requests to meet the supply requirements for select branches.

  • Work with operations managers to establish and maintain service capacity.

  • Review program status and actions for branch specific programs with local sales, operations and administrative teams.

  • Leads and determines recovery planning for unplanned machine downtime or capacity restraints.

  • Communicates planning completion dates and supports sales team with project planning needs.

  • Support local teams and resolve issues by providing technical expertise on production planning tools and processes.

  • Issue batches and internal request for other branches.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:  

    Requires an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree and 3 plus years of experience, or equivalent.  Knowledge to communicate effectively, orally and writing in English.  Telephone techniques, modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment.  Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our internal and external customers with courtesy and tact, perform routine office support, understand written and oral instruction, make mathematical calculations. Proficient in computer systems and advanced knowledge of Excel and other analysis tools

Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.00 hourly DOE
