Responsibilities
[PROCUREMENT]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Responsible for ordering all pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Maintains competence in the use of the all ordering systems, including but not limited to: wholesaler, Legacy product ordering systems, DEA Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS), 340B split billing tool (if appropriate), etc.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Selects and completes alternate ordering processes as appropriate: directs, wholesaler specialty division, plasma division, DEA 222 order form, and Legacy Re-Packaging/Distribution Center purchases.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Maintains target contract compliance.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Ensures adherence to Legacy Health preferred products.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[INVENTORY RECEIPT and MANAGEMENT]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Responsible for managing drug shortages and backorders and takes appropriate action to communicate pertinent information to pharmacy leadership and staff.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Receives shipments and verifies quantity and quality of materials.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Visually inspects all products to insure intact packaging, lack of damage/defect and appropriate expiration dating.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Records receipt of controlled substances in the Controlled Substances Automated Medication Dispensing System (CII Safe) and adds product to inventory appropriately.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Identifies products that are designated Hazardous Drugs and assures appropriate handling, storage, and labeling within the pharmacy. Manages damaged Hazardous Drugs according to Legacy policy and procedure.]{arial",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
