Vancouver Housing Authority People, Culture, and Belonging Manager in Vancouver, Washington

Initial review will begin starting July 29th. * The Vancouver Housing Authority is looking for an experienced human resources and DEI professional to join the Administrative Services department. This is a new position that will oversee the Employee Relations division (3 FTE) which includes recruiting, performance management, training, development, and administration of the internal diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. As a member of the leadership team who will work closely with the Administrative Services department management team, this position will serve as a visionary leader and champion for change, providing support in all areas of the employee life cycle.
Education/Experience: bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, public administration, sociology, or related field. Direct relative experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.
- 4 years demonstrated progressive HR work experience.
- 3 years of professional experience analyzing, making recommendations for, and facilitating organizational change related to diversity, equity, and inclusion; or equal employment opportunities.
- 3 years of experience managing people and/or projects with at least 2 years of direct supervisory experience.

The starting salary range for this position is $88,591 to $101,880 annually DOE. In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $88,591 to $136,430. It is a full-time exempt position working primarily in a building Monday - Friday.
