Contact Director of Talent Acquisition Blake Thiess at for more information today!: SUMMARY: Successful advertising, marketing and promotional activities are highly dependent on the availability of suitable platforms to reach the right target audience. Print, radio, television and the internet are the critical media platforms through which products and services are promoted. The Media Planner/Buyer s main functions are twofold; utilizing target audience demographics to identify the best mix of media channels to deliver an advertising message and negotiating with advertising sales representatives to acquire effective and cost-efficient advertising space. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.: * Responsible for analyzing and determining the best mix of media channels to deliver advertising messages, making sure that the campaigns and ads reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible. This includes evaluating demographics of a specific target audience, accumulating data on the times and places consumers typically access particular advertising sources and for how long. * Responsible for negotiating national and local contracts (on behalf of AL communities) with advertising representatives to obtain the most cost effective and efficient space and placement. Manages the contracts and the relationships. * Responsible for working closely with the marketing project manager to manage schedules and place ads in the various media channels. This includes adjusting media schedules in response to audience demographics and budgets. * Utilizing KPIs and other data sources, analyzes effectiveness (ROI) of various ads and media channels to attract and retain customers and increase brand recognition. Based on the ongoing analysis, make recommendations and adjustments accordingly. * Utilizes innovative solutions for solving challenges.
