Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a detailed individual to fill the position of Materials Lab Foreman in Vancouver, WA. The Materials Lab Foreman will oversee and schedule daily operations and ensure the quality and accuracy of all physical testing performed in the Southwest Region Materials Lab. In this role, the selected candidate will ensure conformance with the WSDOT Quality Systems Manual. It is imperative that the Materials Lab Foreman stay up-to-date and current to perform a full range of materials testing including but not limited to, WSDOT acceptance samples, Independent Assurance comparison samples, compaction standards, and compressive strength samples. This position supports WSDOT's mission by ensuring that highway construction projects are in compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices. The position also supports WSDOT's mission by ensuring construction materials meet agency standards.
