Aerotek Machine Operator in Vancouver, Washington

Description:

  • Set up machine to run each day on certain grade of concrete depending on what is being made that day

  • Observes machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction

  • Checking on quality of product throughout the run to make sure color and size are correct

  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to determine repairs, as needed

  • Wil use a forklift from time to time to move product around the facility

  • Will be walking up and down different stair cases to get to machine controls

  • Working in a team environment to meet production deadlines

Skills:

Machine operation, troubleshooting, Hand tool

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Someone with a maintenance mechanic experience is a plus but not needed

  • Must be mechanically inclined and be able to do basic math equations

  • Must be able to read a tape measure

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs slabs of brick
