We love where we work and we know you will, too! Essential Duties: In addition to payment arrangements, this may include skip payments, due date changes and/or restructuring loans. Collect assigned accounts using telephone communications, written correspondence and personal counsel. Assigned accounts will cover all levels of delinquency including recovery efforts on charged off accounts. Perform appropriate skip tracing as needed. Use professional collection efforts to maintain an acceptable delinquency ratio. Keep a current database on each assigned delinquent account. Work with repossession companies to locate, transport and liquidate Credit Union collateral as needed. Collect on negative share and checking accounts using telephone communication, written correspondence, and personal counsel. File legal documents (small claims, garnishments, etc.) and make court appearances as needed. Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge applicable to this position and understand and comply with government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US Patriot Act and related regulations. Actively participate and fulfill expectations in the Credit Union Email Security Awareness Program as outlined in the Information Security Program Acknowledgement document. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
