We have an immediate need for a temporary Information Technology Assistant to assist our team. This is a non-benefitted, temporary position, scheduled for 40 hours per week through January 2025, at a minimum. Hourly wage is $19.00 per hour.

  • Do you have a keen interest in providing technical support to end-users?

  • Are you proficient in navigating Windows 11 on desktop platforms and iOS on iPad devices?

    Interviews to begin once a qualified pool is reached.

    This position will provide practical work experience, an introduction to Windows desktop support and an opportunity to gain experience working with a team. This position will involve challenging opportunities, real technical projects, and interaction with staff. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of technology. If you have exceptional customer service skills, are highly dependable, and are curious about how and why things work, then we are looking for you.

    A "day in the life" includes:

  • Assisting in the relocation and organization of tech equipment.

  • Ensuring timely updates of computer operating systems for both Windows and iOS platforms.

  • Conducting tests to verify the functionality of current and new systems.

  • Providing comprehensive support to the IT team as directed.

  • Practicing consistent communication with team members.

  • Showing up on time and staying through the scheduled shift.

    Certifications and Other Requirements

  • Valid Oregon or Washington State driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance as mandated by Washington State law.

  • Ready access to a personal, legally licensed motor vehicle.

  • Submit to fingerprinting and criminal history background check.

  • Pass a pre-employment health screening indicating freedom from communicable diseases, and annual health examination as prescribed by physician to insure freedom communicable diseases.
