IS Technician – Production Programming Support

JOB DUTIES

• Design, develop, and test software applications using C#.

• Work through issues and troubleshoot code in production environments.

• Coordinate with various individuals and departments to gather requirements, identify potential problems, and implement solutions.

• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.

• Frequently communicate project progress.

• Responds to immediate customer issues, bringing problems to swift resolution. May include the coordination of internal/external resources.

• Assist in the creation of technical documentation.

• Proposes and implements system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with C# programming language

• Knowledge of SQL databases

• Experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)

• High degree of initiative around learning new technologies and development environments that support existing systems.

• Ability to translate user requirements into functional specifications, writing system and user documentation.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in a production environment

• Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)

• Experience with Python, JSL, JMP

• Machine learning/neural networks
