Description Inventory Control SpecialistLocation: Vancouver, WAMonday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmBenefits at Airgas include Medical, Dental, 401k, paid holidays, vacation, and much more. http://www.airgas.com/company/careers/employee-benefitsHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?As Inventory Control Specialist, you will provide support to the Nor Pac branches as it relates to hardgoods inventory. You will be responsible for handling direct inquiries from associates to assist them in researching issues and completing various processes necessary for them to complete daily tasks within AOS standards and compliance with hardgoods. You'll work closely with the inventory control manager to provide guidance in hardgoods management, reporting, researching, problem solving, and other analyses.In particular, you will:Provide support to the branches to resolve data integrity issues including but not limited to discontinued items, descriptions, costing, source lists, material extensions, and delivery units.Receive and distribute a variety of reports to branches and other stakeholders.Manage and track the process for returning materials to vendors for credit and creating Return Purchase Orders. Also review applicable restocking charges.Cross train with Inventory Control Manager to provide back-up support in their absence, including such responsibilities as inventory reporting and analysis for the region.Are you a MATCH?
