Job Details Job Location Sifton Branch - Vancouver, WA Position Type Internship Salary Range $16.28 - $21.16 Hourly Job Category Customer Service Description Must be currently enrolled in an iQ High School Campus Branch Program. Assist members with their financial transactions, including cash handling and processing negotiable instruments. Initiate and engage members in discussions about the comprehensive range of credit union services and products. Educate and promote services and products in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Operating Principles, ensuring members receive tailored solutions to meet their financial needs. Essential Duties: Develop a deep understanding the features and benefits of Credit Union services and hone your selling skills to effectively promote them to members. Utilize knowledge of products and services to assist and cross-sell to members during each interaction. Actively participate in branch activities and weekly sales meetings to achieve specific detailed and measurable service and sales goals. Encourage teamwork by proactively participating in developing and maintain an environment of respect and collaboration to ensure member loyalty and employee engagement. Participate in coaching sessions, development plans and performance reviews to address areas of opportunity, enhance your skillset and contribute to your personal growth. Commit to and successfully execute on agreed upon action plans with your manager. Make service follow-up calls to members on a consistent basis. Utilize outbound calls to members to address questions, identify opportunities to promote relevant products and services and ensure accuracy and resolution in all credit union transactions. Process various transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers accurately and efficiently. Assist members with any inquiries, questions or problems to ensure any account errors or issues are resolved in a timely fashion. This includes any research and accuracy in cash handling policies and procedures. Maintain accurate cash drawer balances throughout the day, balancing as directed or needed based on length of shift. Ensure timely balancing at the end of each shift to guarantee accurate financial records. Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge applicable to this position and understand and comply with government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US Patriot Act and related regulations. Actively participate and fulfill expectations in the Credit Union Email Security Awareness Program as outlined in the Information Security Program Acknowledgement document. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
