Aerotek Industrial Assembler in Vancouver, Washington

Requirements:

-Ability to read a tape measure

-Mechanically inclined (previous construction, metal fab, roofing, carpentry industry would be great)

-Will take people who want to learn the craft (restaurants workers, cashiers etc)

-Must be able to follow close instructions

-If has blueprint reading would be a bonus

-Experience working in fab shop or with metal would be a bonus

Environment:

-Shop open since 1980 in the Vancouver WA area (Salmon Creek)

-Focus on making accessories for trucks

-Open bay doors so could be hot in the summer and cold in the winter

Misc:

-These positions are full time long term (6-month contract to hire) but they will make a decision within the first few weeks if it will be a long term good fit so that no one’s time is wasted.

-Require submitting resume to client and they will make hiring decision based off resume

-$16.50/hr with plenty of upward movement. Could consider more pay depending on specific skillsets.

-Monday-Friday day shift (5am-3pm) or Monday-Friday swing shift 2:30-11:00pm

-Anyone that went to school for welding or is passionate about that type of career this would be a great foot in the door in a fabrication shop
