  • Job #7967 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Engineering Support Specialist position will create and maintain project SharePoint sites, utilize MS Project to develop and update schedules, and coordinate with various managers to enhance processes and standards. Responsibilities include organizing team meetings, facilitating Project Constructability Reviews, and assisting with project management plans and reports. This role also involves monitoring project expectations, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with documentation and information security standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay Rate: $25 - $35 Benefits:

  • Create new and maintain/update existing project SharePoint sites.
  • Use MS Project to develop and update project schedule, based on the input from Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with Design Managers, Construction Managers, and other groups to identify areas of improvement in processes or standards.
  • Set up and coordinate team meetings.
  • Assist with creating and updating Project Management plans.
  • Set up, organize, and facilitate Project Constructability Reviews at field sites and office sites:
  • Identify meeting participants.
  • Create and distribute construction documents.
  • Arrange site trips, which may include transportation, overnight lodging accommodation, etc.
  • Assist PM with conducting the review meeting.
  • Confer with Project Manager Team Leads to produce and update periodical reports.
  • Assist with Project Manager Team Analysis:
  • Develop and deliver status/progress reports based on existing data and documentation.
  • Establish and continually track project expectations with team/project manager and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and provide status on the various standards and deliverables expected of the Project Managers during the project life cycle.
  • Assist TEP Supervisor by collecting and reporting Program level Capitol Program costs and work accomplished.
  • Collect data from the financial system to analyze capitol spend rate and forecast year end capitol spend.
  • Identify leading indicators of risk areas with respect to scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Assist in authoring and maintaining documents for Project Management work practices, and assist assigned PMs with these practices.
  • Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know).
  • Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures.
  • Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes. Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or GED certificate required.
  • A degree in in business management, engineering, logistics management, mathematics, computer science or a closely related field is preferred.
