----Job Description---- * Location: Vancouver, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #7871 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Engineering Support Specialist 3 will coordinate and expedite the flow of work, materials, and equipment within the assigned department according to project schedules. This includes reviewing and distributing project, work, and other schedules, meeting with management to assess project status and timelines, and compiling reports on work progress, inventory, costs, and schedule issues. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay range: $28.42 - $40.64 Benefits: * Paid holidays: 11 * PTO: Starting at 10 days * Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year (prorated based on start date) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, DCA, LPFSA, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (immediately eligible for employee and employer contributions - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Project Support: * Receive and process work requests, including review the request to validate completeness of information, research project resource needs (material, equipment, and personnel), project due dates for potential pairing with another project's tasks for efficiency, establish a new project record in SharePoint. * Review resource availability, which may include vetting assign project team resources, and sending email notifications to assigned team members and their manager(s), so adjustments can be made if needed. * Attend and participate in planning meetings to represent the assigned department and to provide information about current assignments and resource availability. * Draft and enter new project record in "Current Projects" (SharePoint library), entering all relevant data from original request. * Look through multiple schedules for resource availability, talk to managers and team leads about duties and tasks and timing for resources under their control. * Update / adjust schedules and resources when needed. Collaborate with managers to validate schedules and make necessary adjustments to schedules as required. Note: Resources are entered into MS ProjectWise as a project resource based on this position's recommendations; however, the organization may overrule any resource assignment as they deem appropriate. * Assist PM(s) with day-to-day project activities, such as issue tracking, risk mitigation, and preparing/delivering status reports. * Participate in process improvement efforts if issues, delays, or other obstacles arise during a project. * Assist PM(s) with creation and maintenance of documentation for workflow processes. * In collaboration and conjunction with the PM or manager, recommend when projects should be closed and archived on TER project SharePoint sites, with manager approval, close and archive projects. * Serve on rotation to answer and respond (if appropriate) to phone calls from landowners. Review the voicemail box for questions regarding property. Review inquiry or landowner request to better select the correct contact to which to forward the landowner. Record the question or landowner request on applicable form, and route to the Realty Specialist and Realty Technician.
