As a Driver you would be responsible for changing out bike batteries, picking up and redistributing bikes throughout the City of Portland and taking them in for maintenance. GPS guidance in all vehicles Serving passengers who live and work in your community You'll be responsible for: Ability to work various shifts, as assigned, including nights, weekends and holidays. Safely transporting equipment in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area Deliver & pick up bikes, swap out batteries at different addresses throughout Portland Work alone or with other Street Team members under the guidance of the Shift Lead or General Manager Drive a large van to redistribute bikes as required based on real-time demand data Pick up and drop off broken bikes for in-shop repair We want you to drive with us, if you: Professional experience driving trucks or large vans in city traffic. Knowledge of geography/street layout. Must be able to push, pull up to 75 pounds, with assistance of a ramp. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Basic computer skills Interpersonal skills - Maintain confidentiality, remain open to others' ideas and exhibit willingness to try new things. Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
