Location: Vancouver, Washington Type: Contract Job #7426 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Data Steward 3 position will design, model, and implement efficient data warehousing solutions. The position will collaborate closely with internal teams and will define data warehousing strategies, and program and configure database systems for seamless user access while ensuring data accuracy through manual entry, transfer, and verification. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Run and address problems revealed through automated audits. Audit runs are to be completed per established schedule(s) and problems identified through audits are to be addressed within established timelines with appropriate subject matter experts in accordance with established processes. Query Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) diagrams for system configuration information. Research and seek information to correct problems from the Real-time Operations/Field Personnel. This includes reviewing sources of record and working with subject matter experts to address any inconsistencies; Make necessary corrections via manual entry / work with application developer in a timely manner via a web application; Provide support to substation operators, system protection and control engineers, and dispatch pertaining to trouble report, system, or logging issues. This includes answering questions either directly or through work with subject matter experts; Work with software developers to impose database rules and audits to enforce referential and data integrity. This includes suggesting rules/audits that would assist with data accuracy or make different sub-sets of data easier to find. Support North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) compliance through adherence to Standard requirements and documentation measures. Review and coordinate revisions to the transmission line and transformer reference data report for quarterly NERC Transmission Availability Database System (TADS) reporting; Revise and publish the Chronological Log of Reference file updates report. Post updates to internal (Operations Information) OPI website by end of January annually; Review and provide technical information for updates to regional transmission maps, one-lines and dispatcher jurisdictional diagrams; Interpret electrical diagrams and represent that information in the appropriate reference databases. Provide support for the Limiting Element Database (LED) or its successor. This includes: Seek information on equipment ratings and equipment being released to operations. This includes, but is not limited to searching Dispatch Logs, line rating memos, Test & Energization (T&E) reports and other systems of record; Suggest necessary corrections and/or updates to equipment rating information for lines, breakers, wave traps, transformers and other equipment; Serve as Point of Contact for Organization Delivery & Performance to the Facility/Line Naming Committee.
