Location: Vancouver, WA * Type: Contract * Job #7852 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Data Steward position supports the Mapping Supervisor in managing land survey and mapping data for facility maintenance, operation, and development. This role requires professional data management and process tracking for multiple organizational projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and proficient in automated data systems. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA . Pay range: $28.44 - $40.64 Benefits: * Paid holidays: 11 * PTO: Starting at 10 days * Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year (prorated based on start date) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, DCA, LPFSA, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (immediately eligible for employee and employer contributions - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Provide support to Land Surveyors and Cartographic Technicians by tracking and updating project assignments, due dates, and deliverables. * Review and update project data in multiple project tracking systems. * Create reports to track Mapping project deliverables and project demand and capacity. * Review project deliverables to verify all documents and data are included and complete. * Document project deliverable processes and procedures. * Review and document data archiving processes. * Administer the Mapping SharePoint Site. * Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the Land Information System. * Create supporting documentation on Mapping processes and workflows. * Maintain, track, review, update, and organize engineering/surveying records including: * Plan and Profile Drawings * Land Acquisition Requests (LARs) * Notice of Rights Secured (NORS) * Records of Survey (ROS) * Engineering Survey Notes. * Scan records for digital archiving. * Create, update, and attribute engineering/survey records in ProjectWise. * Review and update survey records in ArcGIS. * Assist customers with obtaining engineering records produced and maintained by the department. * Develop and recommend business rules for storage procedures. * Create or implement metadata processes and frameworks. * Provide Support for GSA fleet vehicles assigned to the department: * Maintain files for assigned GSA fleet vehicles: * Record mileage * Schedule vehicle repairs/service/maintenance, etc. * Deliver GSA vehicles to field staff as necessary. * Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know). Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures. Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics management, engineering or a related technical field is preferred. * 1/2 year of experience is required. * Experience must include records management experience supporting construction, engineering, surveying, drafting operations, or a related field is required. * The technical experience must be consistent with the specific requirements of engineering operations and progressively more technical in nature.
