SIGMADESIGN has collaborated with an electronics design and manufacturing company, seeking an experienced Controller to join their facility in Vancouver, WA. This company has an impressive range of electronic design, manufacturing, and test capabilities that allow them to serve a broad range of industries from consumer products to highly technical and regulated industries.

  • Company will pay 95% of the employee only medical premium

  • 120 hours of vacation & personal time

  • $500 quarterly profit share bonus

  • Salary: $115-$135k

    Primary Function:

    The Controller oversees finance for the site and is responsible for accurate and timely forecasting and financial reporting. As the financial leader at our site, you'll oversee all accounting and financial functions, driving performance and acting as a trusted business advisor to the General Manager. The role requires strong issue identification and resolution skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

    Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting, analysis, and compliance

  • Manage monthly close process and prepare financial packages

  • Drive EBITDA maximization and cash management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, cost control

  • Provide strategic insights to support business decisions

  • Lead and develop the finance team

    Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance

  • CPA or CMA designation required

  • 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing (electronics manufacturing preferred)

  • 3-5 years of controller-level experience

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and advanced Excel skills

  • Experience managing finance teams

  • Advanced skills in Excel and ability to work within involved/complex Excel files.

  • Strong knowledge of tax considered an asset

  • Successfully pass a post offer background check and drug screen.

     

    Work Environment:

    OFFICE: Standard office environment with normal office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients or suppliers.
