Aerotek CMM Programmer in Vancouver, Washington

Aerotek is actively seeking a CMM Technician for a company located in Vancouver, Washington.

Essential functions: The CMM Technician will plan, setup and measure parts using the ConMet equipment, such as, the Coordinate Measuring Machine, calipers, gauge pins, micrometers and various other measurement tools. The CMM Technician is responsible to setup a part, using a fixture or flexible tooling, to the Datum structure defined on the part print and utilize this setup to measure the part per the print requirements. The output of the measurement operation will be a standardized report of the results. The CMM Technician is responsible for validating all dimensions before providing the standardized report to engineering for review.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• One or more years of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming experience required; 5 or more years is preferred

• Experience building creating fixtures for large plastic parts is highly preferred

• Dimensional validation software experience required; PC-DMIS and/or Polyworks is preferred

• Experience using FARO Arm with Laser Scanner is required
