Responsibilities:

  • Involved in producing construction plans that are submitted for permit review

  • Drafting plans that include site layout, grading, utility, erosion control and stormwater management

  • Work directly with civil engineering staff and project managers

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an associate degree is preferred

  • 2+ years of civil drafting experience is highly preferred

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software and engineering related drafting experience is required

  • Proficiency with Civil 3D software is preferred

  • Ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment

  • Experience with site design for commercial and industrial building projects is highly preferred

  • Experience with local jurisdictions and requirements is preferred

  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
