Family Solutions Child and Family Therapists in Vancouver, Washington

Multiple Positions Available Position Summary. Child and Family Therapists are responsible for providing quality mental health services to children, youth, and families. Therapists will be hired to work in an outpatient, school-based, art therapy, and/or community-based setting.


Job Duties: 1. Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients on caseload. 2.  Build alliances with family, school, and community resources to educate and support families to advocate for themselves. 3.  Effectively manage a varied caseload and meet monthly direct service hour requirements. 4.  Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner. 5.  Identify systems issues that obstruct needs of families, fostering creative problem-solving strategies. 6.  Facilitate wrap around, multi-disciplinary, treatment planning meetings. 7.  Develop and conduct mental health assessments and participate in school observations or meetings for assessment purposes, as needed. 8.  Develop and implement treatment plans with emphasis on family systems, coordinating treatment with other providers, client family members, school personnel, etc. and maintain regular contact with these collateral contacts. 9.  Attend meetings within the school or community on behalf of the client. 10. Maintain clinical records in compliance with regulating bodies. 11. Provide ongoing consultation services, training and education to other treatment team members regarding therapeutic interventions.

Washington Department of Health Certification as an | | Agency-Affiliated Counselor (or able to meet criteria for | | certification); or WA licensure in Social Work or a related field. | | 3. Criminal background check in compliance with local law. | | 4. Valid driver's license, plus reliable transportation for | | community-based positions. | | 5. Knowledge of a foreign language NOT required but may be considered | | to determine and pay a higher actual wage rate. | | | | May spend up to 25% of time in the local community to visit clients | | at home and/or school. | | Rate of Pay | | $25.13 to $30.77/hour ($52,250 to $64,000/year), depending on | | experience.
