Location: Vancouver, WA Type: Contract Job #7522 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Business Systems Analyst 3 role will provide technical expertise in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of NERC Facility Ratings. You'll develop, maintain, and improve data management processes and tools to deliver timely, reliable, and usable ratings. As a data custodian, you'll collaborate with stakeholders like information owners, users, IT teams, and compliance officers. You'll also play a key role in setting data standards and identifying quality issues. By analyzing data and working with stakeholders, you'll help ensure the consistency and accuracy of this critical information. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Develop / draft and recommend internal TPR training curriculum and materials; and conduct training, utilizing management-approved training materials. Perform review and verification of compliance with regulations from FISMA (Federal Information Security Modernization Act), DOE (Department of Energy), WECC (Western Electricity Coordinating Council), NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation), and FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission); as well as performing audit preparation for the regulatory bodies and internal (CG) audits. Provide draft narratives for various compliance driven data requests. Arrange, facilitate / conduct, and document team meetings; provide operational updates on assigned work products; provide status updates to management as requested. Create Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, Visio flowcharts and MS Project input in support of business requirement definition and specification development. Data Integration and Stewardship: Provide quality data management, process controls, and data stewardship. Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know). Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures. Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, work with management to facilitate the resolution of conflicting priorities and assist management with building consensus among internal stakeholders.
