Location: Vancouver, Washington Type: Contract Job #7359 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Business Systems Analyst 3 position will support a centralized Business Process Management (BPM) function and collaborate with other enterprise architects and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop a Business Enterprise Architecture clearly wedded to the company's strategic goals. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Research, analyze, model, and organize information for developing process requirements. Decompose high-level information and abstract up from low-level information to distinguish solution ideas from business needs. Facilitate business process or architecture validation sessions and present findings to management and other stakeholders. Research, document, and validate current and future state processes, and architecture. Help define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business process and architecture analyses. Coordinate planning and execution of milestones, schedules, and tasks to facilitate successful completion of assigned initiatives. Identify project deliverables and deadlines, including communication plans, change management plans, "as is" and future state assessments, user guides, desk manuals, and other necessary support tools. Recommend program evaluation criteria and procedures that incorporate performance metrics, compliance requirements, and lessons learned. Recommend program and/or process changes to executives and functional managers based on trends and stakeholder feedback. Provide organizational and process analysis, reengineering, program planning and evaluation, and transition planning to facilitate the successful development and implementation of Transmission's business and strategic initiatives. Recommend methods for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of projects, programs, and procedures through process modification and application of evolving technology. Maintain regular, consistent, and effective communication regarding status of project(s) / assignment(s) and any concerns, with all appropriate parties, which may include themanager, project manager, stakeholders, project team, business analyst team, etc. Collaborate with subject matter experts to convey the company-approved technical vision and to analyze potential tradeoffs between usability and performance needs; work with project PM, business leads, and appropriate personnel to reconcile and determine acceptable tradeoffs. Take actions and make recommendations that help the project meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. Share review findings and recommendations to executives and stakeholders, along with reports showing the progress in implementing new strategies, goals, and culture. Maintain record of business enterprise architecture roadmap, plans, to be state, milestones, progress made, and project status; provide status updates as requested.
