Description Business Office Assistant Setting: Skilled Nursing Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5 pm Location: Avamere Rehab of Cascade Park - 801 SE Park Crest Ave, Vancouver WA 98683 In the heart of beautiful Portland, Oregon metropolitan area you will find Avamere Rehabilitation of Cascade Park just across the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington. Assist Administrator, Business Office Manager and other Department Directors in administrative manners. Resident Trust administration and organization Assist Business Office Manager in billing duties Ensure billing information is up to date and accurate Help answer any billing related questions from family members or patients Verify insurances Billing and collections Requirements and Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education or secretarial training preferred. 1+ years of experience in a clerical position, preferably in a healthcare office setting. 1+ years of experience in a customer service position. Ability to use general office equipment and computer systems required. Must present a professional appearance and reputation to represent Avamere and this facility. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment. Must be able to comply with the COVID Vaccine policy. Knowledge of WA Medicaid and Medicare insurance preferred Please Note: Effective Oct. 18, 2021, all Avamere employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have approved medical or religious exception.
