Business Analyst 2Business Analyst 2 Position Summary:Flux is currently seeking a Business Analyst 2 to join our project team onsite with our client in Vancouver, WA. This contract Business Analyst 2 position will provide analytical support for the Fleet department facilitating, coordinating, developing, revising, and providing recommended courses of actions and providing budget analytical support for our inventory program and the 3,000 pieces of mobile and stationary assets. This position will support and assist the department managers in growing the Fleet inventory process, rolling out and supporting multiple locations, to maximize efficiencies through procurement and organizational realization.Position Responsibilities [What You'll Do]Support Fleet through the facilitation process for gathering and analyzing information using standard tools and approaches to:Clarify budget operations, functions, and problems as it pertains to Fleet inventory and associated costs. Document/map the current and future state of Inventory processes. Identify solution alternatives, evaluate the alternatives, and define procedures. Identify gaps and process improvements opportunities on various inventory activities and subjects; Assist Fleet management in developing departmental inventory management process improvements, which may include alternate reporting, data structures, workflows, and collection/input methods.Confer with stakeholders to establish technical specifications and to identify subject material to be developed for publication.analysis as it pertains to the parts room inventories and recommend corrections.Providing monthly review of expenses, investigation of incorrect charges and resolving issues with expenses.Interfacing with the Finance Department, which may include: collaborating and coordinating on monthly processes and reporting; researching and responding to internal and external inquiries; performing requested adjustments; and, improving cross-org procedures, processes and practices.Conducting cost research and analysis.Provide business analytics and support for Fleet Inventory/parts and cost matrix by:Serving as primary point-of-contact and technical resource for the inventory reporting within Fleet.Promoting and facilitating organizational utilization, providing User assistance as requested. Provide basic financial analysis and recommendations on related Fleet business issues to managers as well as inventory and parts team as requested. Work collaboratively across the organization to solve problems, utilize conflict resolution techniques and support continual process improvement.Organize material and complete assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.Maintain records and files of work and revisions.Position Requirements [Who You Are]Education:Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Computer Science or a closely related discipline is preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Development or a related discipline is preferred.With an applicable Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of experience is required.With an applicable Associates Degree, 7 years of experience is required.Without an applicable degree, 9 years of experience is required.Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business analysis and progressively more technical in nature.Technical Responsibilities:Advanced skills/experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc.)Benefits [Why Work Here]Flux offers full medical, dental, vision (including HSA and FSA options), Holiday Pay + substantial PTO, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401
