Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is NOW HIRING for a full-time / direct hire Paramedic/EMT-P role in the Vancouver, WA area.

Compensation: $29.00-$31.00 per hour + full benefits package

Shift

  • Full Time (40 hours; 8 hour shifts) or Part Time (30 hours; 6 hour shifts)

  • Tuesday-Sunday

Center Hours (shifts will vary):

Tuesday-Thursday: 9am-7pm

Friday: 9am-5pm

Saturday: 7am-3pm

Sunday: 8am-3pm

Qualifications

  • Required: WA Paramedic/EMT-P license or in process

  • Required: BLS

  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge.

  • Preferred: Venipuncture skills.

  • Preferred: Bilingual.

Job Duties

  • Assess donor eligibility, which includes managing informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks, performing physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.

  • You will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility as specified in the SOPs. Follow the relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including the implementation of the Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.

  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
