Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Membership Accounting Specialist who will: Manage small to medium employer groups and individual accounts (member eligibility, enrollment, system configuration, premium billing and payment reconciliation) Provide customer service for member eligibility, premium billing, payments reconciliation, and state and federal regulations Research, investigate and resolve member and employer issues Additional Responsibilities: Take initiative to bring up issues and concerns, make recommendations for resolution Collaborate with other departments/ teams to address concerns or complaints Assist with developing procedures Develop industry knowledge, stay abreast of regulatory changes and requirements Providence welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in the following areas: Oregon Washington: Clark County Please note the following important detail regarding this role: This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Salem, Oregon Required qualifications for this position include: 1+ years of experience working in a customer service environment Preferred qualifications for this position include: Healthcare Customer Service includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Insurance, Pharmacy, Veterinary Preferred work experience: Healthcare: Membership & Enrollment Healthcare: Data Entry Healthcare: High Volume Call Center Healthcare: Claims Healthcare: Medical Billing / Insurance Verification Healthcare: Insurance Policy Support (1) Healthcare: Administrative Office (1) Healthcare: Patient Care Services (1) Healthcare: Pharmacy Technician (1) Banking: Customer Service (1) Collections: Customer Service (1) Veterinary Services: Vet Tech (1) Why Join Providence Health Plan?
