As our Assistant Nurse Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Nurse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our Anesthesia Pre-Op unit. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement. From assisting with hiring and staffing to mentoring and developing your team, you'll be a key driver in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Nurse Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budget monitoring.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Ensure adherence to patient care standards, policies, and procedures.

• Assist in performance evaluations, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Promote a culture of safety and continuous learning.

• Assist with the Clinical Educator.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or active enrollment with graduation within 3 years.

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable nursing experience.

• Recent charge nurse experience within the last two years.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.

• Basic Life Support Certification.

• Ability to adapt to changing environments.

• Ability to work with generational differences.

• Preferred: Financial and budgetary experience.

• Preferred: Specialty Certification.
