Robert Half Accounting Manager in Vancouver, Washington
Description Sue Sumrell is searching for an efficient Accounting Manager to join a solid real estate development and construction company. This leadership position is responsible for an accounting team providing corporate accounting and development project accounting. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for: -The accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements -Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required - Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis - Development project accounting and reporting - Manage the reconciliation of all accounts and projects - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll - Produce cash-flow reports - Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports - Support audit and tax reporting compliance

Refer to JO#: 03600-0012691636 Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes - Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills - 5+ years' accounting experience - Prior work in real estate development, management or construction desired - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines - CPA or MBA preferred - Financial auditing experience desired
