Concierge | Chauffer To ensure residents receive high-end customer services that are typically found outside the community by satisfying customer requests from receipt of a request to the coordination and delivery of the product or service, to provide resident transportation as needed while ensuring safety * Benefits offered:* * Paid time off * Health insurance (for full time) * Dental insurance (for full time) * Retirement benefits or accounts * Education assistance or tuition reimbursement * Workplace perks such as meal and coffee * Variable schedule options * Minimum Eligibility Requirements:* * Must be at least 21 years of age * Must have a valid state driver’s license with a 5 year safe driving record * Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within specified timeframe after hire * 1 year of professional driving experience in the operation of a bus or van used for transporting of clients * Previous experience working with seniors in a senior living environment preferred * CNA, or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred * Strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectations * Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills * Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word and Excel preferred * Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, guests and other staff members * Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to State licensure * Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials * Subject to pre-employment screening including criminal background check, drug and TB testing, and physical * Essential Functions:* * Provide a high level of customer service to residents and team members * Responsible for gathering information on local restaurants and entertainment venues * Responsible for making reservations and coordinating ticket purchases for residents * Responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments, scheduled Community outings, and special events, in Community vehicles, according to transportation schedule * Responsible for assisting residents in and out of vehicles as needed, including loading and unloading wheelchairs, walkers and other assist devices * Reports any resident incidents or physical or behavioral concerns that occur during transport to appropriate Director immediately upon return * Completes transportation activity records in an accurate and timely manner * Assists with annual vehicle inspections and safety checks to ensure the vehicle meets operational standards
