The Property Management Division (PMD) is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities management through the capital and operating budget process. The Property Management Division falls within the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau and consists of three sections, the Facilities Section, the Fleet Section, and the Supply Section.

The Supply Section provides logistical support to all members of the WSP. This support is accomplished in a variety of ways that includes warehousing and issuing commodities; purchasing all equipment including Information Technology (IT) items, vehicle equipment, uniforms and weapons; managing agency assets and processing surplus property.

Duties:

The main responsibilities of this position are to receive and store product by designing and developing product movement and storage systems, improving operations by providing leadership and training to subordinates when required.   Our new teammate will be able to:

  • Position participates in the work of procuring, receiving, storing, inventory control or shipping operations in a warehouse or an electronic/communications stockroom or a combination of these activities.

  • Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computerized systems and devices

  • Verify inventory counts by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies.

  • Customer Service

  • Weapons Custodian Assistant

  • Assistant Badge Custodian

  • During peak workloads, may participate in procuring materials, supplies, parts and equipment.

Qualifications:

*Required Qualifications: *

  • High school graduate or GED certificate.
  • Minimum two years' experience operating forklifts, light truck, hand truck, pallet jacks (manual and electric) and Dollies.
  • Must be able to physically relocate 50 pounds.
  • Must possess a valid, non-probationary, and current Washington State Driver's license.
