We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to establish a common and shared vision of change management for strategic initiatives and high-risk projects managed across the organization. This position focuses on the people side of change, including efforts to support people through change and working to influence faster adoption, greater utilization, improved satisfaction and higher proficiency resulting from changes that impact our team members and customers. You will provide leadership for the agency’s organizational change management program and manage specific change initiatives in collaboration with Executive Leadership, sponsors, project teams, and agency managers/team leaders. You will design, develop and deliver a change management program using Prosci’s ADKAR model (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement). Working in collaboration with the Project Management Office’s Project Managers and Business Systems Analysts, you will design and maintain an agency-wide change management framework that aligns with the agency’s project management framework. You will work with leadership, managers and team members to deliver change management services based on assessments of organizational readiness, impact of change, and agency response to change, including resistance, and will develop organizational change management plans and deliverables for projects within the change management framework. You will also work in partnership with project teams to integrate the people side of change into projects and related project artifacts. Qualifications The qualifications for this position include: * A Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, applied behavioral sciences, human resource management, business administration, public administration or a closely allied field; * At least five (5) years of experience leading organizational change; * Change management certification or designation; * Knowledge of and experience with Prosci’s ADKAR model; * Experience working with executives, managers and project teams to design and implement change management strategies; * Demonstrated experience providing training, coaching and mentoring to agency leaders and project teams; * Demonstrated knowledge of the following: change management principles and methodologies, organizational communications processes, adult learning styles and training design, group dynamics, quality improvement processes, advanced consulting methods, leadership coaching, conflict resolution, and group process facilitation; * Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifestyle; * Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (version 2013 or newer); and * Demonstrated proficiency in the following competency areas: Managing Change Understands the need for change and helps plan for and accommodate it as positively as possible.
