Electrical and Electronic Systems Specialist 3 Tumwater, WA -- Headquarters $80,460 -- $98,040 Annually Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Commercial Vehicle Services (CVS) Office is currently seeking a senior-level technician to fill an Electrical and Electronic Systems Specialist 3 vacancy located in Tumwater, WA. Under the direction of the CVS Systems Architect, this position will work independently and act in a quality control capacity to ensure all applicable codes are followed to install, maintain, and repair weigh-in-motion (WIM) equipment to support state and federal requirements and effective operation of all WIM systems. This position will also travel throughout the state, perform installation, maintenance, repair of permanently installed WIM equipment and set up and taking down traffic control for lane closures and flagging operations on Washington State highways. Our top candidate must be proficient in WIM systems with a high level of knowledge in other Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment maintained by WSDOT.
