PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $81,800.00-$100,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $63,700.00 - $118,100.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. This position will be a hybrid role and expected to be onsite 3 days a week at TFC location.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As the Supervisor of Consumer Loan Servicing (Vehicle and Vessel Titles) at BECU, you will play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our Operational Support team. Your leadership will ensure that our business unit operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of compliance, quality control, and member satisfaction. By managing processes, developing your team, and overseeing operational improvements, you will directly contribute to the success of BECU’s service operations. Your efforts will help ensure that our members receive the best possible service while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee Operations: Supervise the operational aspects of the department, ensuring optimal production and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Employee Development: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to direct reports, fostering their growth and enhancing team performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

  • Process Improvement: Manage system enhancements and process improvements, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Compliance Management : Oversee compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Coordinate with relevant departments and third parties to maintain compliance standards.

  • Audit Support: Support audit-related inquiries and assist with the ongoing review and maintenance of department records, ensuring they meet compliance standards.

  • Member Satisfaction: Analyze results from member satisfaction and loyalty surveys, identify areas of concern, and implement actions to address member needs and expectations.

  • Documentation: Ensure that written procedures are documented for all functions within the area of responsibility and update them as necessary.

  • Records Management: Manage departmental file archiving processes in adherence to compliance and retention policies.

  • Team Support: Offer backup support to the team as needed, ensuring continuity of service.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business required, or equivalent work or education related experience.

  • Minimum three years in operations management or a related field, with a strong focus on compliance, quality control, and process improvement.

  • Minimum one year of demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, including providing coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational processes and drive system improvements.

  • Experience with audit processes, including maintaining accurate departmental records, analyzing member satisfaction data to implement corrective actions, and documenting and managing operational procedures and file archiving in accordance with compliance standards.
