PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $107,600-$131,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $83,500-$155,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Strategic Analyst: Seamlessly blend valuation expertise with risk management insights to bolster our financial foresight and hedge our portfolio with precision.

Innovation Engineer: Forge the future of pricing analytics while partnering with teams to forecast product trends, ensuring our offerings meet both market and member needs.

Compliance Custodian & Team Integrator : Uphold the highest standards in model governance, while synchronizing efforts across Product, ERM, and Audit teams for a cohesive financial strategy.

Efficiency Expert & Systems Steward : Revolutionize reporting processes and continually refine our analytical frameworks to strengthen Treasury's operational excellence and adaptability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or in a closely related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of related quantitative experience at financial institutions or in closely related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced working knowledge on corporate finance, funds transfer pricing, ROA and RAROC, economic capital, pipeline hedging, in addition to pricing and option theory, fixed income and derivative instruments and various risk metrics (duration, convexity, Vega, etc.).

  • Demonstrated experience with fixed income portfolio risk management and hedging.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining financial models with minimum oversight.

  • Previous experience with time series and statistical modeling.

  • Strong programming skills with SQL, SAS, Excel VBA, R and Python preferred.
