PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $91,700.00-$112,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $71,200.00 - $132,600.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Project Manager, you will be pivotal in leading the effective management of complex, mid- to large-scale projects. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning through implementation, closure, and performance analysis. This role requires facilitating critical decisions and managing day-to-day project activities to ensure compliance with methodologies and best practices, ultimately delivering expected business outcomes despite unique operational challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with all relevant stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.

  • Project Management Practices : Develop and implement project management practices, governance standards, processes, and metrics.

  • Detailed Work Plans : Create detailed work plans for complex or specialized projects.

  • Team Assignment : Assign project team members to projects, programs, and key initiatives supporting the business unit’s objectives.

  • Status Meetings : Conduct regular meetings with involved parties to discuss project status, team effectiveness, issue resolution, and tactic development.

  • Milestone Tracking : Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to team members, business partners, and stakeholders.

  • Resource Management : Oversee the activities of partners and external resources working on assigned projects.

  • Communication : Ensure timely and consistent communication regarding project status, issues, and risks to executive sponsors, project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Change and Risk Management : Incorporate effective change and risk management controls.

  • Budget Management : Manage project budgets, including creating budget forecasts and reconciling actual spend against forecasts.

  • Outcome Measurement : Define, report on, and measure expected business outcomes at the completion of each project. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent work and educational experience required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading projects required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Project Management certification preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.

  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement multiple projects required.

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and to gather and analyze information skillfully.

  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgement required.
