Job Description Position Summary The Project Engineer will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The Project Engineer will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Core Competencies Required for this Position Technical background with demonstrated experience in design, structural analysis and testing. Good verbal and written communications skills. Decision-making, time management and organization skills. Detail oriented. Ability to multi-task. Strong project management skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Primary Responsibilities Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned Engineering and test Lab projects to complete on schedule and on budget. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA policies, performance standards and specifications. Cooperate and communicate effectively with sales, production, and customers to complete projects. Incorporates inspection and machine capabilities into product designs. Participate in rotation for liaison and Job/Planning review for Engineering and Manufacturing Proficient in 8D RCCA process and QA programming support for inspection. Write and perform reviews of Technical Reports. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline Proven work experience as a project engineer. Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Proficiency in SolidWorks. Basic knowledge of GD&T, mechanical design principles and PLM drawing review. FEA and Aircraft Structures familiarity desired. Programming and scripting skills (Python, Java, SQL, visual Basic) desired.
