Assist with surgical procedures as scrub staff providing instruments to the surgeons and assists in the planning, preparation, and turnover of case load.
Continuously assists with surgical procedures as scrub tech
Continuously maintains and monitors sterile technique and supplies.
Frequently cleans, assembles, and safely operates highly technical equipment.
Continuously participates in quality improvement/cost efficiency efforts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of principles of aseptic techniques and universal precautions.
Ability to function as a member of a team, highly flexible in wide range of surgical specialty services.
Ability and motivation to demonstrate positive customer service orientation toward patients, physicians, and co-workers.
Ability to function under stress and maintain emotional stability and an even temperament; displays team efforts consistently.
Possesses mechanical ability and aptitude.
Requires graduation from accredited Operating Room Technologist course or experience equivalent
Current BCLS certification required
Washington State Surgical Technologist registration required
- Preference will be given to applicants with at least one-year acute hospital experience as a scrub person
