This is a job order for General Farm Workers
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Harvesting apples and pears
- Pruning of fruit trees
- Training of fruit trees
- Thinning of fruit trees
- General farm work (examples: clean up, building and repairing tree trellises, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to commit to the entire contract period
- 3 months of verifiable tree fruit farm work experience
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: Contract period: May 1, 2024 through October 31, 2024. 40 per week 8 hrs a day M-F
SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: All piece rate work will be paid at the prevailing piece rate with a minimum of $19.25 an hour guaranteed.
Pruning, training, hand thinning and general farm work will be paid on an hourly basis at $19.25 per hour.

The payroll period shall be semi-monthly.
The employer will furnish, without charge, all tools, supplies and personal protective equipment required in the performance of the specified work.
Employer provided housing/kitchen facilities are available for employees who are unable to reasonably return to their place of residence the same day.
Transportation costs to the job site for domestic workers from outside the local commutin
