This is a job order for General Farm Workers.
This job opportunity is limited to qualified, available workers that are currently eligible to work in the United States, per federal regulation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Harvesting Pear and apples
- Thinning of fruit trees
- Pruning and training of fruit trees
General Farm work
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Three (3) months of Tree Fruit Experience
- Able to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
- Exposure to extreme temp.
- Repetitive Movements.
- Frequent stooping or bending over.
- Extensive sitting and walking, pushing, and pulling.
Are able and available to work the entire length of the contract.
HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: Contract period: January 23, 2024 to November 15, 2024. 35 hours a week, 6 hrs a day Monday-Friday, 5 hours Saturday.
CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE: Employer will accept referrals until May 21,2024
SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Pruning, thinning, and training and general farm work will be paid on an hourly basis. All piece rate work will be paid at the prevailing piece rate with a minimum of the hourly rate of $19.25 guaranteed/ Frequency of pay is Bi-weekly.
