To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical input for project scope development, including marine dredging, sheet piling, capping, and contaminated material handling. Develop, manage, and update project budgets, schedules, and work plans throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular status updates. Oversee job site activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, technical specifications, and environmental regulations. Manage contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Review and approve construction quality control procedures, material submittals, and manufacturers' quality control (MQC) documents for compliance. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure all construction activities meet permitting and environmental protection requirements. Manage change orders, evaluate construction schedules, and monitor critical path management (CPM) tasks to ensure timely project completion. Serve as the primary liaison among contractors, project managers, vendors, regulatory agencies, engineers, and clients to foster an integrated team approach. Analyze contractor invoices and payment applications, verifying alignment with contract terms, progress, and documentation. Prepare detailed project reports for stakeholders, including updates on milestones, compliance, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field. (required) Advanced degree in the same discipline. (preferred) Professional certification (P.E.). (required) Skills, Experience and Qualifications At least 10 years of direct environmental and/or marine construction experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) Extensive knowledge of marine dredging, sheet piling, sediment capping, and handling of contaminated materials.
