Security ClearanceSecret Position DescriptionStudio Operations Manager Job Summary: Valiant Integrated Services, a leader in the Defense Services industry, is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Studio Operations Manager to lead the production of online learning material in a variety of formats, delivering effective computer-enabled training to the Army at the Mission Training Complex, JBLM, Washington. The successful applicant uses their skills and experience to effectively liaise with government staff, contract employees and subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver quality, effective multimedia training products to a worldwide military audience. The Studio Operations Manager leads a team of videographers, is responsible for end-to-end eLearning product development, manages and supervises studio operations, and helps create various informational, educational, and marketing multimedia products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Report to and work with the Media Support Team Lead and Contract Site Manager on a routine basis delivering media and studio support to the government customer.In support of the Media Team Lead, liaise with customers to determine training objectives, milestones for production, and resource requirements; serve as Team Lead when directed.Operate and maintain a non-broadcast television studio: plan, schedule and coordinate the studio production calendar and the work of the media support staff; manage and oversee video pre-production planning, on-site and remote production activities, and post-production scheduling and execution; supervise video collection and ensure all media is archived appropriately and is readily accessible.Primary responsibility is assisting the Media Team Lead in producing distance learning products; works closely with other contract team members and government staff to develop relevant, timely, and professional training support products.Publish projects to appropriate Army learning portals as directed.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, educational technology, or related fieldMinimum five year of experience working in a video production environmentDemonstrated skill with non-linear editing software platforms; specific proficiency with Adobe Creative CloudThree years of multi-media experience working in Army training environmentsPossess a current or active SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearanceAbility to write effective instructional text and audio/video scripts, and storyboard online training projectsDemonstrated ability to produce, direct, photograph and edit a variety of video product stylesAble to carry and operate camera equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creativelyValiant offers an opportunity to provide innovative technology for government and commercial customers around the globe, helping to solve their future problems today.
