The role will have responsibility for with managing pricing strategy, designing pricing processes, analyzing margins and recommending business process changes to optimize margins. In this position, the individual will work with sales, IT and supply partners to define the process, tools and analysis need to understand, measure and manage a specific line of business. This would include contracted opportunities where the role would analyze the expected returns and make pricing recommendations, as well as spot business that supports business growth. The analysts would work to define the tools used to track pricing, develop proposals and quote customers. The role would provide pricing guidance and rates to sales and customers as well as execute pricing changes associated with changes in WFS costs. The ideal candidate will have a commercial focus, analytical skills, desire to optimize the business and solid communication skills (verbal and written).Key responsibilities will include:Define, document and manage pricing and quoting activities for assigned line-of-sight (LOS)Maintain process documentation and roles/responsibilities understanding between key stakeholdersProvide guidance on tools and technology required to enhance the business line and customer experienceIncrease line-of-sight profitability, process efficiency and business value aligned to the business strategyConduct adhoc analysis on margins and financial returns and present results to managementTrain and education business partners on processes and tools used to manage rates and to onboard new customersRequired Skills:BA/BS Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Industrial EngineeringIntermediate knowledge of MS ExcelComfort in managing large amounts of dataAbility to accurate document business processes (swim lane, SIPOC)Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsPreferred:Pricing experience (contracts, spot, CPQ)Knowledge of Fuel, Lubes or Energy business modelsAbility to understand SQLWorld Fuel Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) committed to workplace Diversity.
