ASM Global Part Time Maintenance Event Custodian in Tacoma, Washington
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain the general building and ground in a safe and clean manner.
Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, door window, wall repair.
Operate custodial equipment and other related equipment as required.
Monitor Facility condition and apply preventative measures including but not limited to electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing Safety hazards, paint, door, and wall condition.
Clean and sanitize restrooms venues and other public areas around the premises.
Monitor, replenish, and report back stock inventory of consumables, paper products, and maintenance essentials.
Assist with snow and ice removal.
Supervise and direct supplemental labor in the above duties as available.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills :
Supervise and lead a crew of up to 4 people.
Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
Work independently and as a team, exercising good judgment and initiative.
Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, and patrons.
Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays. Hours can be event based, and daytime hours are limited.
Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods of time.
Basic knowledge of Safety practices and power tools.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Physical demands of prolonged repetitive motions normally associated with mopping, sweeping, buffing, dusting, and climbing.
Ability to work inside or outside environments.
Experience in similar setting preferred.

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour
Overtime Rate paid after 40 hours weekly.
Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law.
