BUSINESS UNIT: Cubic Global Defense COMPANY DETAILS: JOB DETAILS: Knowledge Management Specialist ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Functions as Knowledge Management (KM) Lead. * Responsible for the organization and content management of the Mission Training Complex SharePoint portal. Understands how to leverage SharePoint to support Knowledge Management. * Interface with MTC Government Knowledge Management Leads. * Responsible for providing leadership and direction of Knowledge Management projects for the various contract and government staff sections. * Work with Site Manager and team leads to define the KM strategy and lead implementation of initiatives that promote knowledge sharing, preserve data, enable leveraging of information assets, and facilitate utilization of knowledge within the organization. * Define and prioritize current knowledge management challenges and be responsible for the identification, implementation, and monitoring of solutions to enable the organization to work more efficiently and deliver valuable solutions to our customers. * Designated SETA (Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance) position which requires local registration and diligent care in protecting proprietary information and avoidance of conflicts of interest. * Will have access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data and may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences and asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS * Experience, or equivalent, working in the Microsoft SharePoint environment. * Proficient in leveraging SharePoint as the IT pillar in support of KM Projects. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * 3-5 years leading Knowledge Management projects from requirement to solution. * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution desired. * Military experience and schooling is desired: Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), Captains Career Course, Advanced NCO Course or equivalent. * Knowledge of Mission Command Warfighting Functions, Decisive Action Training Environment, Training event planning, and simulation support to training. * Must be proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook * Successful candidates must exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior government officials. * Possess an Security+ or equivalent DoD Information Assurance accreditation SECRET CLEARANCE.
