Centene Corporation Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Services in Tacoma, Washington
Oversee the Clinical Pharmacy Services department and develop new quality improvement and revenue enhancement activities.
Review and evaluate biopharmacy prior authorization requests
Manage and implement key strategic initiatives
Analyze pharmacy data to determine key trends and drivers; recommend opportunities for cost savings
Research and develop new cost reduction, pricing, quality improvement and revenue enhancement activities
Ensure that Clinical Pharmacy Services are in compliance with existing laws and regulations
Document and log any provider/physician complaints and ensure senior management is notified of complaints in a timely manner
Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate policies and procedures
Build strategic relationships with client's key decision makers
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (PharmD., M.S) in pharmacy. 3+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience or 1+ years of managed care pharmacy experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
