About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center Office of Military Personnel Division, Tacoma, Washington. Responsibilities

Provide administrative personnel support for the Troop Commander and Military Personnel Team.

Serve as a point of contact for promotion and evaluation actions procedures.

Assist reservist and service members with updating records and preparation of finance actions.

Serve as a liaison between service members, installation finance and military personnel directorate for personnel management.

Serve as a point of contact for promotion and evaluation procedures.

Responsible for the strength accountability and reporting for permanent party officers and enlisted soldiers assigned to the organization.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative and technical support on reviewing and processing military personnel actions (such as: pay, promotion , evaluations, retirements and separations) and using automated systems or office software programs to enter data, complete forms and assess statistical data from databases for accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Human Resource Mgmt. or Business Mgmt. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Career Program (CP) 50 - Military Human Resources position.
