Global Helium is seeking a Helium Transfill Tech III to join our team located in Tacoma, WA. The Helium Division distributes liquid and gaseous Helium for use in a variety of applications, including electronics, optical fibers, MRI/NMR, leak detection, and metal fabrication. Linde products, services, and technologies Responsibilities - Committed to personal safety and environmental accountability. - Safe handling of hazardous materials (liquid & gaseous helium). - Must have advanced leadership skills. - Ability to run daily operations during managers absence. - Must be able to understand and complete the end of month report in managers absence. - Complete AC/DC Plus training. - Perform duties such as advanced troubleshooting. - Must understand and be able to interpret P&ID, PID Process controls and instrumentation. - Assist in the training of production technicians 2 & 1. - Assist in compressor overhaul. - Accurately completes documentation such as timesheets, EAM work orders, safe job plans, work permits and regulatory reports/Inspections. - Computer and software use, for example: email, spreadsheets, data entry. - Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices and conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities. - Fill liquid & gas helium Bulk containers to our QMS (quality management system) standards. - Participates in and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy. - Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements. - Performs Startup, Shutdown, and operation of various equipment, for example: Gas compression, Cryogenic processing units, liquid handling systems. - Product composition and quality sampling and testing, and routine inspection and calibration of associated equipment. - Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. - High School Diploma or equivalent is required. - 2+ Years as a Production technician 2 or equivalent. - Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Data entry, etc. - Able to pass a pre-employment physical (up to and including drug & alcohol test). - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Ability to work shifts, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays - Ability to work safely around various types of rotating equipment - Must live/relocate within 45 miles of reporting location. - Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships. - Willing and able to travel (Up to 10%) - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit or to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
